My Darling Nfiece

This poem I dedicate to you
My darling daughter I love you,
Your first step to a wonderful life
May you live in harmony and never in strife?

Be good, take care, my heart is with you
I’m here, I’m there, my love for you true
In good times and bad you can always call me.
I’m by your side for all to see.

I raised you, looked after you when you were young
When you are gone my woeful heart will be hung
To a new life you must go
Take control and put him in toe.

Taking aside I wish you well
Make life a joy not a living hell
All that is left to say is forget me not
Or I’ll bring a gun and guess who gets shot.
