Ayub (MY BRO)
As I write this poem for you,
My thoughts, my wishes, my love, my bro, are just for you,
Another birthday. Another a different age,
A different chapter, a new page.
May Allah give you long life, and good health?
A loving wife and kids are your wealth.
Your family you know are there for you,
Except when it comes to going to the loo.
We never know how long we shall live,
What will be remembered is the love that we did give.
Allah knows what is in our hearts and in our minds,
Everything is there for you to find.
Lastly, I could go on forever,
Sometimes silence shows all, my brother,
I have known you all my life,
All said and done – we are blood – we are life.
